Included with the tribute tree planting certificate is a seed paper heart with the inscription “Forever In Our Hearts” or our new seed paper butterfly with the inscription “Plant Me”. These handmade paper shapes are embedded with wildflower seeds that will sprout and flower if properly tended. The unique blend of wildflower seeds embedded into the paper have been carefully chosen to include seeds that will thrive in most growing regions of North America.

Germination may begin as quickly as one week or may take up to six weeks depending on your regional growing zone and planting depth.  We recommend placing outside in the ground or inside in a pot and covering with just 1/4 inch of soil. Keep the soil moist. The plants tolerate partial shade, need four hours a day of direct sunlight, and grow to about three feet high. Seeds include Spurred Snapdragon, Tussock Bellflower, Creeping Thyme, Lilac Godetia, Foxglove, Catchfly, Monkeyflower, English Daisy, Red Corn Poppy, and Showy Evening Primrose.
